Macy's 4th of July Firework

Yes, I am heading to NYC for 4th of July celebration. After many nights of result-less discussions, Donkoi and I finally decided to spend our Independence Day holiday at the city. This would be my third time in NYC, but I am still exhilarating to explore the city again. Manhattan, 5th Avenue, Wall Street, Chelsea... trigger happy molecules inside of me!

I used priceline.com to book our 2 night hotel stay. Donkoi had been using this website for many times. Though he is the existing expert at home, he assigned the task to his shaking-leg house maker to handle it. After a week of battle to get the cheapest deal, I could claim that I am the second expert at home to handle hotel bookings now. As a smart consumer, I did my comparison between all the famous hotel deal vendors, such as hotwire.com, hotels.com, kayak.com, etc. to realize that priceline.com is doing a better job this round. We are going to stay at Four Points for $110 per night + tax. Bravo!

Besides, we are not driving our car to the city this time because the parking is BLOODY EXPENSIVE! Never in my life (dollar-to-dollar) that I have paid $45.00 for any parking, except in NYC. After two trips of driving journeys to NYC, slightly malfunction GPS due to all the skyscrapers and BLOODY EXPENSIVE parking fee (emphasize again), we decided to try out the bus system from Albany. We are using aabus for our virgin coach experience in East Coast on Sunday. I am going to complain about the service if it s*cks; stay tuned. :)

At this point, our accommodation, transportation and schedule are ready. We are still lacking the details on the firework itself. I will try to read up on the subject on Saturday. The event introduction page displays the possibility of cool fun, don't you think so?! The biggest firework displays in America, hmmmph.

The Independence Day holiday has lifted everyone up. Donkoi is at the mood of pampering himself again. We are going to have dinner at Cheesecake Factory and watch Transformer tomorrow night! Time off for the home maker... :-D
