The last time I have donated blood was April 2010. It was 16 months ago. According to the suggested blood donation interval, I probably can give 5 times of blood in this duration. However, I was just too occupied about myself.myself.myself till I neglect the importance of giving back to the society. Reminder to myself - do not wait for another 16 months!
I donated 350CC today, but I forgot to bring my donation card to the office today. So, the nurse issued me a temporary card. The record is transferable to my actual donation card during the next time I do my blood donation. Since the blood drive was organized by the community team, the ritual was a souvenir would be given to any donor. The souvenir for this year is a small first aid kit.
If I had this first aid kit before last weekend, I would have carried it to Air Itam Hiking Trip. Probably, you won't be so miserable, right? LOL. :-D
