Xiang Xia at Weld Quay

Ahhhh, I have so many outdated photo and things to share. Some of them were from the time before I become Black Lady Gaga. [|:-D

I don't want to mumble too much about the frustration on things that I failed to find the time to do; why don't I just diverse my energy and "sleeping time" to describe an outing with my parents. Yes, I stay at home now. We see each other everyday. I always come home with hunger. So, the first question at home is always the same. "Hungry. Hungry. So, what is the food of the night?" After dinner, I go into my room either for picasa/facebook/google/blogger/gmail/work/msn. Then, I turn on something I want to watch on the laptop and switch off the light. Dozing off slowly... After a lengthy description of a normal day at home, my main point is the amount of time != the quality of time. So, a dinner out with my parents can be quite an out-of-routine event too.

Last Sunday, I slept until 2:30pm. Basically, I missed many sms and phone calls. Finally, I woke up, talked to Donkoi from Dresden, washed my toilet, bathroom and washing area. I collected at least 10 packets of recyclable items at the washing area alone. Pretty sure there are still hidden treasures at each of the corners and holes in my house.

Around dinner time, my parents and I shifted all the items with the old newspapers into my car. We dropped the recyclable items at charity organization. Then, we started to think of what to get for dinner. As we have Mr Chinaman in the car, we have the constraints longer than the Great Wall. No exaggeration; the list can go on and on. In order to save my ear from the nagging, I just took them for fish head noodle. Bingo. He was so happy and I was so relieved. [|:-D

Mum & Black Lady Gaga

We went to try out an one-year-old fish head noodle house at Weld Quay. The shop name is Xiang Xia @ Heung Ha @ kampung. The fish was fresh. (Trust the seafood-freshness-meter, which is moi.) That made the clear fish soup extremely tasty and matched the thick bihun perfectly. I ordered the tomyam soup base for my noodle, but that really lost out to the plain clear soup. 2 bowl of clear soup noodle + 1 bowl of tomyam noodle = RM22. My mum said the price was reasonable. If your are salivating, please take note that the shop is closed during the first day and the fifteenth day of lunar calendar. :)
