4-6-2010, Friday Lunch
Out of the blue, one of my colleagues thought we should go somewhere for a fancy lunch. He asked us to hitch on his car and he started driving to town. When we about to reach our destination, we realized that we were at Beach Street, heading towards Sri Weld food court. A food court, whereby the guys and the girls have the pleasure to wash eyes because there are a lot of office elites in formal wears around this area. ^.^
According to food blogs, Sri Weld has the most famous nasi lemak in Penang. Rm1.50 each for a freshly made nasi lemak in banana leave. We got all three variations from the nasi lemak stall.
Besides the famous nasi lemak, I had a bowl of famous beef noodle as well. It reminded me of Vietnam Pho.
Yummy. This was our Friday lunch right before our 3-day holiday. Happy to get out from the routine. :-P
