Lounge in Hong Kong Airport

Originally thinking of spending the whole night in the airport, like Tom Hanks in The Terminal. I found good connection and water cooler in the common area. So, I thought I would survive for the night.

But, I felt so cold in the middle of the night. I was shivering. Damn. Would what Donkoi and friends are right? I should get a descent place to rest? My only contact in Hong Kong was at Beijing; not going to be back by Tuesday. The only other option was the Plaza Premium Lounge because that was the only lounge that I can gain access by using $$$. Walked a few pillars and got my connection - checked the price and realized that the 2-hour usage is 400HKD, but the 10-hour usage is 600HKD. Since I still had 14 hours left by the time I was awaken by the low temperature, I decided to take the 10-hour usage.

Checked in and quickly grabbed the fruit juice... Then, a guy approached me and asked me whether I am a Vietnamese. Hello! Anyway, it stroke me that there was an old uncle asking me questions in Vietnamese in the afternoon as well. Now, I look like a Thai/Vietnamese, but actually a Malaysian Chinese.

Took a shower in the lounge and felt so good! I remembered the exact feeling last year when I transferred from SFO to Hong Kong. All you need is a shower to rejuvenating and getting rid of misery feeling. :)

My time here is almost up soon. I need to go out to retrieve the ticket. Received phone call from department admin; seem like the level of confirmation has increased! I'm flying out soon~ Secretly, I must tell you that at one moment I was thinking of buying a cheap Hong Kong - PG ticket to go back to PG. But, giving up is just so not my style. I am smiling again after 2 gloomy days. :)
