Foh San - Ipoh Parade

We departed from Penang by 7:30am on 17th of Oct 2009. We drove to the Foh San Ipoh, following the instructions of my GPS in the handphone. When we reached at the "destination", Foh Shan was not there. Oh-oh~

I heard from colleagues that Ipoh Foh San has switched place. But, I did not feel like waking up people in the early hours, especially it was a public holiday morning. Finally, I decided to use my "funny" Cantonese (according to many native Cantonese speaking people) to ask for the direction from a middle-aged man. Apparently, the new shop is just about two blocks away from the old shop. Yeah, move it move it!

The direction heading to the restaurant were flocked by MANY breakfast hunters.Finding a car park was as difficult as grabbing the only Mickey Mouse among all the discoloured C7 from the cuddly toy grabbing machine. Then, we were lucky to find a spot. When we got out of the car, an Indian guy came to approach us and require us to pay RM2. We gave it to him to avoid any troubles. But... I think our politicians should really try to put a stop for all these illegal parking fee requests. Mr Lim, please see what you can do in Ipoh, yay. Let's walk the way you talk, understand the situation and serve the citizens. ^^

Anyway, let's see how impressive is the new Foh San through my camera lense.

In mandarin, we called this scenario as "门庭若市"== the front yard is like a market place. :0)

We went to Ipoh Parade after the Dim Sum. Car park searching again. We ended following a very interesting Pajero. The car was decorated with MANY many miniatures. That was the highlight of the Ipoh Parade! The next post would take you all the way to the next town in Perak, Kampar. Stay tuned.
