April 21, 2009

It is just another stressful day. It started off with my strong urge to be in the office early. I woke up early to get ready. While my fickle mind was attempting hard to pick a top from the wardrobe, I heard the noise making by rain drops falling upon my roof. "Oh, my god! Not again..."

The following sequence was an 1-hour-and-15-minute struggle in the war zone. The traffic jam made handsome man becoming moron while pretty lady becoming corpse bride. Bikes tried to zig-zag in between, cars tried to squeeze in while factory buses tried to knock me out. Luckily, I am still around to narrate the story... V(^_^)V

I reached office by 9pm and managed to finish what I left behind yesterday and did my preparation for the afternoon meeting. Then, Addy, Ah B and I were all excited to meet Serena for lunch. Exchanging mails and sms as usual to make up the lunch plan. Then, Serena announced her absence. Addy was so down...and the kaypoh matchmaker was pasieh for 3 seconds.

The mood of the afternoon was really quiet. Everyone was really [working|too lazy to move] on this cold evening.

Time to go home! I was really excited because Donkoi was back in town. Yeah! [I am no sure whether any of my colleagues has figured me out or not. Because on the day Donkoi was around, I am (1)counting down to 515pm (2)sitting very still on my chair (3)smiling ear-to-ear]

The 7pm scenary was rather peaceful. A thin layer of pale orange filled up the lowest corner of the sky. It felt like the sun doing her final goodbye and whispering to me "till tomorrow". Vehicles seemed to slow down, even the factory buses were crossing the overhead bridge in grace. I must be in hallucination.

We did not do anything special. We went to Mom's care in Queensbay again. We were surveying the baby stroller/baby car seat this time. The shopkeepers were very helpful in providing information and giving their professional opinion. However, a Maclaren Stroller cost ~ RM1000. We replied, "We really had to go back and think about it." [Indirectly telling you 90%+ is highly unlikely]

Window shopping and book hunting again. Then, it was time to go home. On the way home, Donkoi answered to my request, buying me chicken wings! While he was chewing the flesh from the chicken wing inside my car, he kept mumbling, "Don't you pity the chicken that die for you to eat this chicken wing?!" Drooling. "Can you quit eating meat?", I asked him back. Then, his eyeballs twinkled and said firmly, "No!" Silly for him to make that comment while silly for me to even think of asking.
