(Should have done it a long long time ago. But, I have been quite crazy/"passionate" at work lately, venturing into new area, which I have very little knowledge about. Feel like in studentship again, where constant learning is the key of solving all the problems laying around the table.)
Bangkok, Donkoi & i are coming!
We arrived at Survanabumi Airport slightly over 7pm local time. We took our slow stroll in the airport. We even tried to photography the destination board because we thought it is nice. To amuse you more, we tried to snap photo of the baggage claim area. I think we are the most aimless/least time-bounded tourists on earth.
We bought two airport express to go to our budget hotel at Sukhumvit area. I forgot how much it cost. Probably, 150 baht per person. We checked in the Swasdee budget hotel. We got it 610 baht per night by booking on-line. I think it is a right hotel for us as both the bathroom and bed are clean.
We went across a food stall area at the opposite of our hotel, next to Thong Lo BTS station. There was a wide slection of food and dessert. I think this area was mostly catering for locals. Thus, there were no over earnest people trying to hold on to your sleeves to show you their menu. In fact, they didn't quite understand English. So, we ended playing pointing-and-getting-me-that game with the hawkers. They tried to talk Thai to us. Her~her~her...(Only during the later days in Thailand, I realized that we actually looks like Thai couple. In Bangkok itself, there are over 7 million of Thai Chinese. It happened so often that the people would try to speak Thai to me. According to them, my feature and of course my skin colour does resemble the native Thai a lot. While for Donkoi case, I think the people just thought that he is one of the Thai Chinese.) Oh, I had talked too much till I forgot my plan to lure you with delicious food!

After dinner, we walked around our "temporary" neighborhood...
Sitting on the bench by the roadside
