On our first Friday together in 2009, we decided to find the Switzerland restaurant in town. Friday traffic is crazy, but our crave for meat is even crazier. In the middle of the traffic jam, we were singing Edelweiss while hitting our laps and hands according to the tempo of the song. It was one of the guiding/scouting song we learned back in high school. Surprisingly, both of us still remembered it. Enjoying it as well. The best traffic jam in 2009 so far. :-P
We reached town by 630pm. The last hour before the night comes and covers the whole town in dark. We parked our car and started our quest for the restaurant. To our surprise, by walking down Armenian Street itself, we found so many interesting scenes that we have not known before. We were tourist to our very own hometown, Penang.

I saw Ang Mo appreciating this temple, so, I joined them as well.

Pretending to enter one of the old house.

Am I not part of the scenary, Donkoi?!

Found a little market at Armenian Street.
Little girl is buying ice-cream from the uncle.

Items that we usually throw away can be resell?

Uncle found his old album.

Body Art shop.

Old-time barber.

The mix between modern and old feel as well as the mix between Indian and Chinese feel.

Finally, we found Edelweiss after our long stroll!
We walked around the dining area available for customers and picked a spot next to a big old church clock, which had the ticking melody. I found the tune making the tagline, "I love you every second of my life" so realistic. I was listening quietly to the rhythm while watching Donkoi looking at the menu. It was very romantic by just observing Donkoi flipping eyelashes and hearing the mechanic's periodic routine.

Donkoi was reading through the menu.

I was amazed by the clock.

Mechanic clock, both of us were crazy about you!

I got all excited when my Bora-bora is here.

My B52 was finally landed.

Yummy Pork Belly.

First bite of the Pork Belly.
You can see how good it is by looking at Donkoi's "I-will-die-with-no-regret" expression.

Dessert - Appleflan with vanilla Movenpick ice-cream.
Donkoi said that he wanted me to try it, so, he ordered it.
But, he ended enjoying it more than me. :-P

Look at the food containers at the background.
It is time we reuse them to buy packed food to save the environment! :)
After meal, we went to Prangin Mall. The parking fee was quite expensive. RM3/entry. To make the money worthwhile, we went dancing at the top level of the multi-storey car park. For real. It was really spacious and windy up there.
