My first birthday gift

Lik Jie and NK (Penang colleagues from the other department, who are visiting SJ office too) went together with me for my sashimi hunting at this 20-year-old Japanese Restaurant. The sashimi was wonderful! It might be cruel to kill so many types of fish and at least an octopus to satisfy my crazy crave. Pleasure is a sinful act. Muahaha!

I'm celebrating 20 years as well if you believe me!

Found this "Expert Alteration" besides the restaurant.
Lik Jie was helping me to take the -tion away using his jacket.
Now, I became "Expert Altera"!

Then, we stopped by The Cheesecake Factory. They made me pick a cake from the counter. According to NK theory, if you did not have a cake on your birthday, you will never grow. I refuse to take the cake after hearing him saying that. I wanted to stay young or at least at my current state. I am certainly happier that way than hearing my number growing each year.

There were so many types of cakes in the display. I spent time reading each cake name and trying to imagine the first bite of the cake. I picked the original cheese cake and Lik Jie went ahead to pay for the cake. That was my first birthday gift for this year. Thanks! We then sat inside the car to finish it after we sang the birthday song and i pretended to make a wish without a candle.

my original cheesecake.

Later, NK drove us to ride along Santana Row. There were two row of branded retail shops located opposite of each other with a center row of assorted colourful flowers. Beautiful. No wonder, my boss boss recommend the place.

Finally, my birthday is officially ended, according to Malaysia time as well as San Jose time. Waiting for the next year to be coming around soon. :)
