Started my flight marathon in Penang by 7am this morning. Sitting at a plane with strangers was slightly not usual to me. I felt shy to wake people up because I needed to go to pee. I did not get extra yogurt. The journey Penang - KL - Hong Kong was not pleasant when I was feeling cold and I didn't get a blanket because they ran out of blankets. I repeated the stewardess answer with disbelief !?
I touched down by 1:30am at Hong Kong Airport just now. A guy in Cathay uniform was holding my name in front of the plane exit. He upgraded my "economic class" air ticket to "business class" air ticket. Surprise, yeah! I haven't been to "business class" seat before. Yaya-hoohoo!
Now, I just finished eating a bowl of yummy Ramen while waiting comfortably in the lounge for my delayed flight to San Francisco. [I just saw some Japanese businessmen in tidy attire saying goodbye to each other. It was courteous and formal with bowing.] If the flight is on time later, I will be in San Francisco by 3:30pm. Anyway, I am not traveling alone as expected earlier. Found another colleague from other department. She had been to San Jose before and promised to take me to buy necessities once we reach. Hehe! :-D
