Yesterday, I started reading Emma. Holly, I found myself as a fine lady of five or six-of-twenty. Yeap, that is how it refer to someone age. The narration and conversation in first 12 pages killed my brain cells in comprehending the actual meaning. It is not really difficult. I think I just need to get used to the different way of English usage.
During my afternoon time, I spent time adding in the self-created search engines for sites that I frequently use, such as Dictionary, Stock and Thesaurus. The search plugins files are XML-based and they are more comprehensive than Emma, in my humble opinion.

Domo Kun is for a frustrated blogger, who keeps misspelling her words till the firefox dictionary can't give a better suggestion. Thesaurus is for a blogger, who has limited vocabulary to empower her writings with substituting the word fine with attenuated/belletristic/comminuted/ excellent/exquisite/homeopathic/impalpable/tenuous. Isn't it useful? Haha! Now, you know all my tricks in composing my blog entry.
Simply switch to Domo Kun and type monster. Then, the result will display as if you are in dictionary.com, searching for monster. Of course, in the dictionary.com, you always have this gay guy trying to frame himself in a heart shape and this masculine lady attempting to grow heart-shaped beard. The process of searching a word is faster now. Neat! [Just a side note, I finally met Prof Stephen Brown, who wrote the Digital Design book that I used during my study time and still refer to during my work time. He kept using "Neat" in his presentation and there was where I picked up this word. *wink* During his visit in Penang office, he donned with shirt and cargo pants, with no bow tie. He is a 45-year-old person with 15 years of his life time spent as professor. It also means that he is some sort of genius, who are super fast in his track.]
I created this search engine for the reason that I always don't know what is the price of my company stock. Often in office, people would drop in my cube and "inform" me through a open-ended question approach, "Do you know how much is our company stock shot up to?" I always give this dumbfounded look. Then, the people will give me this disbelief look that I am so unconcern and solve the mystery by telling the up and down trading notches for the day before. After that, they would normally throw me a pitiful look for missing a good trading window. So, I was thinking if I have this search engine tagging along my firefox, I may be can surprise these people that I know the price. One of those days, muahaha!
For the night time, I was wearing my Cernold Palmer shirt and my Abercrombie denim skirt, carrying my casual Gap bag, to attend a normal gathering dinner at Chinese Restaurant of Penang Swimming Club. I did not think much on the attire in the sense that I AM GOING TO PENANG SWIMMING CLUB. At the moment I hopped on Poay Ying's car, I saw her dressing up in a nice one-piece dress and I was asking, "Are we expected to follow by something else later?" I hope the rest were wearing something casual like me. Eventually, everyone turned up with nice clothings, carrying all the branded handbags. There were two LV handbags, one Coach hobo and one MNG shoulder bag on a table for seven. There was even one Giorgio Armani handphone on the table. I feel like having Paris Hilton and Nicole Ricchi as my friends at that moment. He!
Later, I only learn that the new membership for the club is RM80K. And, the membership is considered as an investment and can be kept to trade for a higher price. For example, the membership for 10 years ago may be RM10k, but it might be sold for RM20k now. Thus, some new member, like my friend[Ling Pei] might choose the approach to get the membership through buying old membership because it is like RM60k cheaper. This is indeed a rich man games. It is so posh to own a membership for paying an amount equivalent to a house down payment. Anyway, I am glad that Ling Pei actually think of sharing her joy for the new membership with us. Honestly, she has a thousand better brain and attitude than Paris Hilton. I love this eye opening experience, which brought me to go to such an exclusive place that I never know existed in Penang!
