Two friends called up Donkoi while we were at Gurney plaza, doing our shopping spree. It was an invitation for us to go to have a drink at Church Street Cafe. At 1030pm, we were at our most casual outfits, stepping into this comfortable zone with music that reminding you a bit of youth and a bit of teen. Soft alternative music from all times. Absolutely, there was no Rihanna's party SOS or umbrella. Thus, it was not hurting my throat to scream across a message to my friends. It is indeed a decent place to hang out with friends to catch up about life with beer and finger foods.
From the outside look, it looks just like a home-running bar. Most of the time, this sort of bars in town are catering for "uncles" market. Slight doubt whether this will be another this-sort of place. However, since our friends would choose to return to the place, we simply hope for the best out of the place. When we entered the bar, we were welcomed by a friendly lady. The place was not crowded. Best of all, no boys were wearing super tight pants trying to be Bon Jovi or no girls were wearing the make-up of the-nightmare-before-Christmas. Everyone was at their most comfortable outfit, chit-chatting with friends. "Nice!"
