out of lala land for a while

Mum just went through an operation to have her fibroids removed in Adventist Hospital last weekend. Since mum was diagnosed with the fibroids during her vaginal examination, I had been going through the process of contacting hospital, talking to patients with similiar case, finding up on the best doctor in town and handling the insurance claims for the last two weeks.

Aunties have been, as usual, very helpful with my mum. (Since they might be reading this out of the blue, I just want to thank them very much.) Not much emotional burden, such as worries as the fibroids were predetermined not malicious by nowadays advanced technology - ultrasound.

Mum was out of her housewife routine because she is currently staying at my aunt's place. Thus, I have to help to take care of the chinaman (aka dad) at home. Interestingly, he actually knew how to wash plates. *clapping my hands* Thus, I am the housewife apprentice - cooking tong sui, washing clothes and boiling water, after work. Imagining now?!

So, symptoms that you should not ignore:
1. Heavy menstrual bleeding
2. Anaemia
3. Pain and pressure at vaginal area

What should you do?
Go to gynaecologist to have a vaginal examination. He/she will able to tell the condition and advise you from there.

A tired day. I am going to sleep now. Good night.

p/s: who is the person that left me a comment during my last post? Thanks for the reminder. :-)
