GSC of Queensbay was opened yesterday. Anyone from 3 until 80 can easily print out the website coupon to watch the free showing movies as stated on the coupon. Some of my colleagues claimed that we should go to watch the Malaysia-made "Cicak Man" since it is free and you won't brat as much after the movie for wasting RM10. -_- Not an appealing idea to me anyway. This is a side effect of working with a bunch of genius people. They will come out the idea which is so critical to be accepted by normal people, like me. Ha!

You can still watch movie until Wednesday. :-)
Actually, I watched all the free-showing movies before this. As my sister was sitting for her public examination last December, she missed most of them. Hence, she wanted to grab the chance to watch Happy Feet and Rob-B-Hood. So, we reached Queensbay Mall by 10:30am. There were at least half of a thousand people queuing in front the counters. If the cinema just took RM1 for each free tickets to help out the flood victims in Southern Johor, I think the cinema will collect an awesome figure to ease the victims. Too bad they did not think of doing it. All they care was to tell the whole world that they are opening. However, I got a feeling that I will soon be their frequent customer with Mr Donkoi that always fancy about watching movies. :-)

Team 2 - Yin, Auntie Sim & Auntie Tin
Implementing split-and-queue policy. Finally, the queue of Auntie Choon and I proceeded far ahead than team 2. We exchanged 4 tickets for Jackie Chan's movie and 2 tickets for Happy Feet. After my aunts' Rob-B-Hood, they exchanged another 4 tickets for 5:30pm Mission Impossible before my sister & I went in for Happy Feet. I knew the storyline by watching downloaded version. Previously, I rated Happy Feet as an animation trying so hard to tell the big story of the world. However, after watching it on the big screen, the whole story just came alive. The size of the screen does matter as well as the comfort of the chair. They changed the impact of the movie on you.

Rachel: Will you grab that jacket for me? The red one, please?
Frank: I'm here to keep you alive, not help you shop.

Suddenly, Kevin Costner's stern face appeared in my mind. He was once so yummy-licious to me after I watched The Bodyguard during my young age though he is about my mum's age. Old men, like Kevin Costner, Harrison Ford, George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan are killing me slowly and softly. (Coincidentally, the on-line radio is playing "Killing me softly". Ha!)
Monday again tomorrow. A mix of hate and love. I need to go to bed now. Good night. I will end this entry with a photo of Sis & I in the Nando's, waiting for our dinner.
