Oh, a late update on what I was experiencing during the begining of the week. Reached home safely on Tuesday late night/Wednesday early morning. On Wednesday, I was tied down with all the boxes I claimed from the transportation company. After tidying it up for two days, I surrendered that there is no way I can finish tidying all up in just a few days time. Nevermind. Mama said that I can unpack it slowly as long as all of the boxes are gone before I start working.
Journey to KL
Sunny sky is good for photo; but it is bad for travelling. It is so sleepy doing nothing inside the hot moving oven. Doze, phew~** phew~**
KL International Motorshow 2006Entrance fee: RM5 (for students & I used my student card again! Hiak! Hiak! So priviledged.)
Avenue: PWTC

At the entrance of the exhibition. These are all the car companies that participating in the exhibition.
What to see there? For the ladies, cars, and cars, and cars. For the guys, cars, and girls; cars, and girls; cars and girls. Kill two birds with one stone. Definately, the ticket is more worthwhile for the man. In my opinion, the models that dress in more cloth sophisticating the look of the cars while those in less cloth makes the car price down one notch. May be that would be a different story for guys. The less the merrier?! Hiak! Hiak!
There is a wide ranges of cars, from normal vehicles you see running on the road to concept cars that you doubt whether it will be running on the road. Fascinating! Overall, Toyota put up the best concept cars preview while Mercedes-Benz maintains its class in exhibiting their cars and luring consumers to poke a whole in their pockets, dropping all the piggy bank coins on the paying counters. A great experience, I would conclude. (Rush to it if you are going to KL. The exhibition will be available until 4th of June. Remember, bring along your going-to-date-due student card too.)
KajangOvernight at Stephen's(my Penang friend, not my coursemate) home in Kajang. He insisted to bring me to eat the famous satays after I mentioned in the car. It is not so big after all. For this, I would say "Kena Con, Sial!".
Kajang - WangsamajuWoke up by 10 o'clock. Setting off from Stephen's place to my brother's place to pass him things and laptop. We had lunch at the chicken rice he claimed is the best in Wangsamaju. 0_o" The lesson is never complain in KL, or not, you will starve to death. Ha!
Ikano - Ikea - The Curve - Damansara CinepleasureHow to get there:
Find the road sign for Mutiara Damansara and keep driving. (CK and I spent 1 and half hour to travel from Wangsamaju to here. Laugh all you can if you know KL well.)
Special tips to get cheap parking:
Park at the IKANO shopping mall. It charges RM1 for the first 3 hour and RM0.50 for the subsequent hours.
CK went mad in the bookshop in IKANO when he saw all the classics. He kept saying that he would return to sweep all the books off the shelves when he started to work. And, this "Kluang Station" was so familiar. Oh, it is in KC's blog not long ago...

One of my best friend used to say that couples love strolling in furniture shops, imagining their future house. I could neither deny nor agree the statement. What I am positive is both CK and me enjoy spending time in furniture shops, sharing our liking on particular pieces. I shall say that furniture-window-shopping is a good relationship-building activity. :-)
Did not really shop in the curve. Just spent time flipping books in Borders and had a quick walk through the boutiques. I was impressed by "The Street" in The Curve, whereby there are many well-known restaurants. But, I was not hungry then as I was filled by the yummy meatballs!
Ipoh's Bean Sprouts and ChickenTravelling back from KL to Penang at 6 o'clock and we were caught in a major jam, which took us more than 1 hour to travel from The Curve to the highway in Sungai Buloh. CK was a frus ball during the jam. I tried to cheer him up by telling silly jokes, which he did not laugh a bit. 0_o" Traffic jam is such a mood spoiler. Pity all these KL people. How can they bear the daily basics of traffic jam, I wonder?
For the first time, we went to take a bath at the highway's bathroom; right after we struggled out from the jam. It was so refreshing and CK was able to be entertained again by my silly jokes. At around 10:32, we reached at Ipoh. We had the famous Bean Sprouts Chicken and Keoy Teow. After the dinner, we went to have a walk at the night market in Ipoh before we left for Penang.
PENANG!
