HeLlo!
It had been a long long while since I last updated my blog. I had been quite "busy". All my boxes are dispatched and squeezed inside my cupboard. Hopefully, my mum will not try to open my cupboard. If not.... hiak-hiak!
Now (drum roll...), comes a summary of my last Saturday/Sunday Penang National Park adventure with CK and friends. In case you don't know, Penang National Park includes the area of Pantai Kerachut, USM Seafood Research Centre and Monkey Beach. One of the famous attraction in this Penang National Park is its Meromictic Lake.

A group photo before the start of a sweating and tiring hiking adventure to Pantai Kerachut. Standing: Me, Lenz, David, Tan 'Kok' & Kun Yun. Squatting: CK & PuiPui.
CK tried to capture the exhausted look of the hiking team while everyone tried to force a smile to impress the camera man of our strength.

Guess the scenic view of Pantai Kerachut and excitement of getting to fish all night long made CK going wild and acting like a fool to entertained the "punctured" girls and boys.
#1: He was trying to act like a sea turtle laying egg. At the exact location, the sea turtle laid eggs on the previous night, according to the park ranger.
#2: The moustache is the sign of wisdom?
#3: Sand bag of his friends on the sand.
#4: Perversive shoot. But, it is clearly showing CK's tail. Thus, it is asserted that CK is a pig! And, I am dating a pig!!! Ahhh.....

Sunset.
They were trying to make a sand mummy. Good try, but lousy approach, "engineers"!
Trying to act funny and I had to admit we spoilt the beautiful sunset view.
These boys and girls were attempting to catch the living creatures in Kerachut. Kun Yun (Tan 'Kok's girlfriend @ CK's far far relative) went mad whenever she saw a crabs crawling on the beach. She and CK would run after them; Tan 'Kok' would then shaking his head saying, "No wonder they are relatives."; I smiled like a idiot then. Eventually, I learned the theory to catch crab. But, I was too timid to try it out.
As soon as the sun fully set, the darkness engulfed the beach completely. The moonlight was the only light on the beach. Then, the fishermen(CK and David) and fisherwomen(Leang and Pui Pui) came into action. Fisherman CK caught two fish while fisherwoman Leang caught one fish. Nil for the Kedahan(David and Pui Pui). "Penang fish is only for Penangites," I guess. Blek! :-P
Fishing activity was ended due to continous lightnings. We, like the Westerners, knocking on the door of the Park Rangers' community hall and asking for a shed. As the lights were put off to anticipate the arrival of sea turtle after 12 and we were really worn off, we slept in the community hall, donating our precious blood to all the hungry moisquitos. Then, I woke CK up to go and sleep at the bridge expanding out to the sea. I was then waken up by the strolling couple on the bridge, David and Tan 'Kok'. CK was too sleepy to notice them due to the overnight fever with the World Cup. I then joined them to slept on the beach until the real rain came upon our faces.
The next day morning, we took a boat from Pantai Kerachut to our starting point. The boat man was very kind. He pointed to us all the animals and attractions on our way to the jetty. According to him, a LANG's nest (a type of eagle, which is found in this park) is as huge as a human size. This really amazed me. I then began to pray that the eagles would not mistake me as the fish, flying towards me. Later on, I realised that I was stupid enough to even think of that. Duh, eagle had better vision than me without spectacles!
Anyway, I am going to holiday. (Don't jelous!) So, I will be away until next Monday... or may be longer as I am going to start working on Tuesday. Crazy!! Crazy!! Crazy!!
