Sentosa Island Part 1

Lovely flowers are all over the Sentosa Island! :)

This is my Sentosa Island trip sharing... ^0^
A 2-day-1-night trip there with my sister, Auntie Choon and Auntie Siew Kee which happened on 19th Dec 2005 & 20th Dec 2005.

+ How do we got there?!
Hop on the MRT from Bugis station, then, get to HabourFront station.
From there, we then followed the clear direction all along the station to the HabourFront Bus station and get on the Sentosa Island bus to head to Sentosa Island without any charges.
*So good?! *
Of course, they charged us for the entrance fee, which we pay at the main entrance of the island.
At the main entrance, we got our Sentosa package, which include the admission fee, sky tower, butterfly park and insect kingdom, Images of Singapore and Merlion.

+ Transportation on the Island

Hui Yin is holding the package ticket on the free bus service of the Sentosa Island.
There are red bus, blue bus, green bus and yellow bus for tourists to get around the island/to their respective destination.
Besides, they provide train along the beach line.

+ Merlion

Oh, this is the first photo of the day!
Together with the famous merlion=mermaid + lion and my jap-looking sister. :)

+ Images of Singapore

I'm popeye the sailorman.
1..2..3.. I'm pulling the load up.

Po~Po, the ship is getting near...

Indian style of Fortune Teller.
Where is the bird that will pick the card that belongs to me?!

"I want to buy black-and-white TV set!"
Purposedly grey-scaling the photo...
But, the TV sets are actually black-and-white in the show room.

This 10cent ice-ball stall make both my aunts going crazy.
Basically, this Images of Singapore winds back plenty of their childhood memory.

+ Carlsberg Skytower

The sky tower.
And, we are trapped up there. H.e.l.p!

Our baby-sitter in Sentosa Island, Auntie Siew Kee and Auntie Choon.
They are laughing happily in the skytower before it starts to rise to the top.

This ride cost my sister and me $10 each.
I guess I'm too happy till you can't see my 'beautiful' eyes... Hehe!

From the sky tower:
Cranes all over the Harbour Front and tall buildings on the Singapore mainland.
At the bottom of the picture, there are two towers.
It is actually the bridge that connected Singapore mainland to Sentosa Island.

+ Butterfly park and insect kingdom

I hate insects, but I love butterflies.
Behind me, endless types of butterflies from all over the world.
At different parts of the world, the butterflies change in term of their sizes and colours to adapt to their habitats.
It is clearly shown on the map, but I doubt you can see the differences.

Lively butterfly resting on the tree branch.

Human-faced insect!
Why on earth the insect want to imitate human?!
Why?! ...

Upcoming part: Underwater world..."Stay tuned!" Au revoir!
