Reading the book again with Jay Chou's songs in my Philips after my dinner as I was helping my housemate to make pirated Taiwan series for two holly hours.
*Wonder any police will come over my place?!*
This book is actually a diary kept by a teenage boy(Name:Adrian Mole, isn't that obvious?).
He is struggling valiantly to equip himself to fight against the slings and arrows of growing up.
What are the slings and arrows then?!
1. He tried to have sex with his girl and was rejected.
2. His dad has sex scandal and Adrian Mole get another half-brother, Brett.
3. His mum is pregnant after 15 years from her first labour.
4. His ambition is to become poet and his favourite place of the world is Norway.
5. He never stop being curious about his thing and kept measuring it since the first book of Adrian Mole: The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 and 3 quarters.
*I read this book during my high school time and I wonder do I fully understand why he kept measuring during that time...HaHa!*
Come accross this Page 77, which is dated July 18th, Sunday.
It is a short passage in a diary, which goes as following.
"My father announced at breakfast that he is going to have a vasectomy. I pushed my sausages away untouched." =D... Ha!
Will keep reading this book and continue with this book, Adrian Mole: The Wilderness Years.
I should check the library and see whether they have the full collection of Adrian Mole.
