God bless! @_@ they arrived safely. The shuttle landed at 5:11 a.m. (8:11 ET) at NASA's secondary landing site at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
After arriving at California, the Discovery was not yet home. On last Friday, the space shuttle Discovery rode piggyback atop a jumbo jet heading to h.o.m.e, Florida. Look at the picture, it is actually a modified Boeing 747! Actually, you can somehow detect it look alike 747 ... right? Just that you cannot confirm it is a 747 ... Hehe!
Okey ... Space shuttle Discovery returned to Florida's Kennedy Space Center atop a NASA 747 on Sunday, 12 days after it was detoured from Earth orbit to California. The landing returns to home base the first shuttle to fly after the 2003 Columbia disaster that killed all seven crew members. This will bring back human's confidence in exploring this unknown universal again on the coming March ... :)
