Due to the unexpectedly warm weather in these few weeks, the cherry blossom peak has happened earlier than the expected date, which was announced on 1st of March. Donkoi and I have decided to shift our travelling plan from next weekend to this weekend, so we will be in time to see the petals before they are gone. It is forecasted that there is 70% chance of rain. My fingers are crossing now, so the 30% chance of no rain is the case for this weekend. Highly unlikely, but still...keep on praying. ^.^
We are going to stay at the beautiful Hilton Hotel at the Washington DC downtown. Usually, we don't have the luxury to live close to the attractions. As this is the first trip after the Spring Day, we are going to pamper ourselves to kickstart the lucky streak for 2012. Lamest excuse, of course. Anyway, it is my very first Hilton hotel stay! I am looking forward to it. It feels like a mini honeymoon to me now though the planning of the trip was only seriously executed tonight.
Really, Washington DC, I'm so coming now! :))
