Snow is coming

The temperature is dropping drastically. We have to turn on our heater system whenever we are at home. The day is getting shorter. There is no more outdoor jogging for me because I am still at my working hour when the sky slowly becoming dark. So, fall is really over? My eyes were still remembering the picturesque fall foliage at Lake Placid.

Last weekend, Donkoi and I shopped for our winter clothing at the Old Navy and H&M after his company on-site family day. We spent quite a big amount to add more knit layers, mostly for me, who is not a big fan of cold weather. A moment before I started typing this post, I just put in an order for a down jacket from the Eddie Bauer. A few weeks of household fees went down in that purchase. Cold weather is burning a big hole in our pocket. Yucks!

The worst part is I am hungry all day long because of the weather. I am eating tidbits on and off throughout the day I am working at home. If I continued eating excessively in this winter season, I think my worry of not able to fit into my White in the coming January might become a reality. You can tell that I am anxiously wanting to stop, but I am hopelessly addicted to eating in this cold weather. The satisfaction is really awesomely warm and fuzzy like hugging a fluffy soft toy. :-P

Oh, our usual news channel is upgraded to HD. With the new clarity in the display, the animated weather icon indicated the possibility of rain and snow on tomorrow night. First snow of 2011...
