Soup #1

It is unbelievable that I still able to cook one or two cuisines, which Donkoi have never eaten before at Malaysia. Thanks to my mother for a wide variation of food that she has cooked me throughout the years. I miss her now, sob-sob. :-\

On Monday, I surprised Donkoi with this bitter gourd soup. Basically, I cut the bitter gourd to around 1 inch thick, stuffed the minced pork in the hole, then, put them into the boiling water with carrot. I used to eat this with tang hun at home last time. As we did not have this at home, I used the thick bihun instead. The soup was bitter sweet. Since it is getting colder at night here, having clear soup is always a blessing! :)

I surprised Donkoi with cabbage soup yesterday night. He liked it so much that he took an extra bowl after the dinner. As we did not finish a potful of the cabbage soup yesterday night, he heated it up to serve as his breakfast. If I knew earlier that he would be fond of this, I would not have to crack my head everyday just to come out with more complicated cuisines. It seems to me that it is not too difficult to get to a man's stomach after all. Muahaha. :-D
