Currently in the schedule, the second house moving in 2011 is happening this weekend while third house moving in 2011 is going to happen right before my birthday. Many friends and family members are confused with my constant change of addresses at Upstate New York. It is so difficult to explain the whole scenario over the e-mail, msn, skype or even Facebook without providing the story from head to tail. So, here goes the full story. *tada*
The first house I am currently living is actually a temporary house, which is part of Donkoi relocation package. Staying at this temporary house is easy because the furniture, towels, bed sheets and the kitchenware are provided. All we did was carrying our luggages, moving in and sleeping on the provided bed. Besides all the provided household convenience, the house is snapped right at the edge of the Saratoga Springs downtown. As I emphasized many times in my previous entries, Saratoga Springs is a very popular vacation spot at Upstate New York. Since our residency is so near to the Saratoga Springs downtown, I have learned to like strolling leisurely at Broadway and Congress Park. I must say that we have our good time enjoying it.
After three months of staying at "vacation" house at Saratoga Springs, we have to move out of it because the temporary term is due. Though Donkoi had paid a booking fee for our next renting place, the building construction actually falls behind of the schedule for 8 weeks now. We talked to the renting property management and decided to let them put us up at the phase 1 of their renting property while waiting for our actual renting place in phase 3 to complete in construction. Yes, we could have looked around to find other renting place to cut out the hassles of house moving. However, the renting price around the area has increased significantly compared to Donkoi's current deal as more and more professionals are flocking in the area to support the new foundry. Therefore, we are going to move to our new temporary house this Saturday and expecting to move again later. By the way, I am going to unpack my shipment this Saturday at this new temporary house. Yeah, I will start wearing proper clothing for summer! :)
As the new renting place does not come along with anything, we are busy doing the shopping. Then, I realized even little thing in the kitchen can be quite expensive. In order to get the cheapest deal in town, I did quite a lot of research and price comparing. Hopefully, we can keep our budget under control. *Fingers Crossing*
