On last Friday morning, my family from home was asking me, "How does it feel to have the same weather as Malaysia in New York?" Apparently, the record high temperature in New York was an eye-catching headline in Malaysia. Donkoi and I went for our routine jogging that hot evening, but the weather was so hot that we failed to finish our usual laps.
Just when we were complaining about the hot and dry weather, the cloud decided to pay us a visit. Our Saturday was so cold that we turned in for a nap because the weather was so nice to hibernate. We had such a cozy live-in weekend as the weather continued its course. Ever since Saturday, the weather has not warmed up at all. I can't wait to have sunshine for our habanero plant and African daisy, which we got from the farmer's market. According to the "farmer", hotter the weather get, hotter the habanero will get. Mr Sun, please chase away your cloudy friend soon... :)
African Daisy before moving to the big pot
The soils were displayed at the carpark.
Donkoi just carried it away without paying it. Kidding.
Pots, sauces and natural garden soil.
Time to start house moving for our plants.
Walmart ran out of the spade in the store.
So, we wrapped our hands in Walmart plastic to transfer the soil to the pot. :)
All of the baby plants are in their big nourished cradles.
They are waiting for the sunshine now.
