Sunshine
Donkoi's German colleague complained to him that Upstate New York is crazy. The spring is too short, according to him. We had a few weeks of rain with gloomy sky to the extend that Donkoi and I decided to buy ourselves an umbrella. Suddenly, the cloud moved out and the temperature is shooting up. Upstate New York feels just like home now. It is so warm that everyone is wearing shorts, tanks and sandals. With my shipment is still at the warehouse, I was basically the most odd girl in town, whereby I am wearing a pair of short pants with a long shirt. It might be acceptable look in Malaysia, but it absolutely doesn't blend in here. However, I welcome the sunshine. We have more outdoor activities now, like visiting lakes & mountains. And, this is my first time experiencing packing winter clothing when the season is over. :)

Rockport & Boston, Massachusetts
Since the weather is awesomely good, it is easier for travelling too. With the Memorial holiday happening this weekend, Donkoi and I (& friends) are going to Rockport and Boston. Yeah, we went to do some shopping for the vacation this evening. I got myself a pair of the sandals because my cheap-po shoes from Malaysia have rubber coming out of their side. I got myself a hat, which we saw a month ago at H&M, but we found no reason to buy because the weather was still quite cold back then. We got sunblocks for face and body from Walmart after dropping off the recyclable items. Yes! Yes! Yes! Holiday in sun, at last. :)
