Waiting to transit now at Hong Kong Airport now. Initially, I was thinking of getting the ramen Siew Li recommended me at airport. But, I am not exactly hungry now. It is already passed my usual lunch time. Probably, I need to buffer an hour to do my boarding since it is going to be a direct flight to New York. And, it is 15 hours!
Interesting events during my first flight of my New York journey:
(1) A Xia Men uncle was sitting next to me. He was visiting his uncle at Penang. He invited to visit Xia Men next time. In our conversation, he commended in a polite manner that Penang's development was incomparable to Xia Men. High 5, uncle. Instead of doing that, I just smiled shyly.
(2) One of the stewardesses told me that I looked very familiar to her in a friendly manner. Evyn/Eryn/Eyn? I got confused by the alphabets on the name tag.
(3) Helped a Korean couple to put their two-pin plug into a three-pin power supply slot. They were so amazed. The wife gave me a super sweet candy and said bye-bye to me when they were leaving the seat next to me.
(4) Back to Hong Kong Airport - meaning closer to Mainland. Exposing to their strongly audible culture again. Heard some harsh comments from a mother to her son and her daughter-in-law in an out loud fashion. Probably, her eyesight was so bad to notice my presence. I was sitting right next to them. -.-
Time to hunt for a drink and a quick snack before heading to my boarding gate by 3pm. :)
