Katie, Aki, Poay Ying and I gathered at Kirishima for sushi and nabe. After the dishes, I still felt like having dessert. I was hoping to get Mochi. However, they did not serve it today. Second item on the menu I felt like trying would be "tiramisu". When I ordered it, the waitress said, "You have a cake already. Do you still want a cake?" My friends bursted out laughing. I never thought that they would still buy me a cake after such a long while after my birthday. Besides a good Jenny's cake, they bought me a gift as well. *touch*
I unwrapped it and it was a forever friends bear. I striked an item on my wishlist! I always know girls listening better, but I could not believe that things I mentioned casually to a friend would actually lead her to buy the bear. I really like it. In fact, I am loving it. Celebration was never completed without alcohol. Alcohol in the blood now - MOET champange and SOI 11 margarita. This was my first time having champange. The closer drink to champange, which I had before is known as sparkling wine. Both first time experiences were expensed by Aki. :) She is the queen of food and beverages.
