I am never an initiator for alcohol hang-out/party, but somehow I am hooked to this sort of party quite often lately. Finally, I can declare proudly that I am clean at least for this weekend. I heard someone talking about one next weekend...I don't hate it and I don't over like it. I am just sitting on the fence so long that I have a good atmosphere to meet people. wink!
Again, weekend is always too short for so many things.
On Friday night, I went to gym for 45 minutes. I was trying to pick up my exercise load before I went to KK. However, I was really slacking... Later, I went grocery shopping with mum in Tesco till 12 o'clock. The shopping mall was a night playground for many people. My mum could just walk fro and back at the fresh market area for countless of times. She was busy helping her working colleagues to buy vegetables. This seems like my mum's new hobby. So long she is happy, I would reserve my comment, especially during the season that Mother's Day is coming soon. Afterwards, we went for supper. Back the time we were back, it was almost 2 o'clock.

The bliss of waking up without alarm happened on Saturday. I fixed myself a salad meal and cuddled in front of laptop, streaming comedy on firefox. Until times was up, I hopped on Poay Ying's car to go for my first World Music Festival evening! The night was awesome. Performers were superb in their art presentation while people were zealously responding. With Penang's weather, I would like to remind myself if I'm going again:
1) Outfit: singlet + short pants + slippers + hair in bun
2) Yoga mat for sitting
3) Drinks
Basically, it should be a picnic outing with insect repellent instead of sunblock. :)

I finally put doraemon into good use
Donkoi and I watched The Kite Runner on the Sunday morning. [I finished reading the book during Labour Day. Yes, I can spend whole day reading and still be very happy. Don't give me that look...] How can you describe a story book in a short 2-hour movie? However, the movie contains the soul of the book. It is good. Donkoi wept and swore that this is the movie of the year.
After being mentally feed by a good movie, we went for a pancake buffet. For RM87, we ordered 7 plates of pancakes and 5 cups of drinks. Yes, we really tried our best to make the restaurant account looking bad by serving us. In returning Donkoi's credit card in paying the bill, I bought him "The Kite Runner" book. The rest of the shopping hours were filled with me busy testing out wedding dinner outfits and Donkoi standing outside of the fitting room, reading "The Kite Runner". He was too attentive with the book till he threw no "I-am-attracted-by-this-outfit" look at all. Thus, I bought nothing before rushing to the cinema by 9:55pm.
We ended our day by watching "Iron Man". I had zero expectation on superhero movie, except Transformer. But, I must say this is another good entertaining movie. Gywneth Paltrow was so pretty in it. Lucky Chris Martin. I really wished her to be with Brad Pitt last time. Angelina Jolie is not too bad. I am impressed by her amount of good deeds to the world. I think she made Brad Pitt a better person. Tsk, I sounded like a gossip magazine now...
