Inked on Election Commission Capability

I just came back from the polling/vote-counting observer briefing. Yeah, I'm going to experience the flow and instilling my faith in the democratic system again. A positive way to adjust back the bias system is to get involved and adjust it according to my minor ability. For the phantom voters, you better not to commit obvious offenses because I'm after you. (Let's see whether I can still say that after Saturday or not) Anyway, there are a few tricks that I can use to determine whether one particular person is a phantom voter or not. So, politicians, please try your very best to think of smart trick to bluff me. Boooo....

Yesterday, EC announced that they are not going to use indelible ink during this election. The ink was purchased from India with the cost of RM2.4 million right on the day that the election date was fixed. The sudden cancellation indeed raised further concern among the public regarding the existence of phantom voters. Explanation of Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman for this sudden change - there were reports made to the police alleging that certain quarters had purchased indelible ink from abroad with the intention of creating confusion and suspicion to the status of voters.

Don't ask me whether I believe his statement or not. "But, since The Star is publishing it, I would have to believe it, right?" For me, if such incident actually happened, I think Abdul Rashid Abdul Rahman has found the worst solution to the problem. So, as a disappointed Malaysian, I feel he should "pandang timur", like Japanese Minister, resigning for his misjudgment and making public apology for changing the election implementation at the very last hour.

Anyway, no matter they are using it or not, I want to see the display of the 48,000 bottles of ink. I think the bottles can either be arranged to be second twin towers or to be the largest Malaysia flags in KLCC to celebrate our 51st National Day. You know when I don't see the ink bottles, but I have been seeing BN TV commercials everyday. I somehow feel fishy. I somehow will relate the accounts together. I somehow feel conspiracy is happening...
