A milestone of my life, one year of working life as an engineer. Whoosh is the sound to describe the speed of the time. Wow is the outcry to the bygone time of the last one year. Anniversary is the mark of the 365 passing days.
The jittery feeling one night before my first working day is still vividly lingered. The butterfly that get trapped inside my stomach is still there whenever I think of the first day, sitting inside the lobby and having deep breath every 10 seconds. Talking about first day, I must not forget the most puzzled look I wore for my first day was during the time the HR admin explaining the concept of in-house shoes to me. My dumbfounded facial expression just made him repeating himself for three times, if I remembered correctly.
After one year of working, I am uncertain whether that I am in denial state or not, but I still find the job very much close to my heart. Tasks are always providing room for learning, experiencing different aspects and putting up different challenges. In addition to that, I met a wonderful mentor, who I respect very much as well as colleagues that are cool. Most of all, I have a big big cube all to myself, which I have not been able to fill up with things. A song to remember my current feeling - Avril Lavigne's Innocence.
