Wen Jie's death dawned on me more than expectations. I could not sleep on Sunday night. I went to office on Monday with usual Monday blue plus serious gloomy feeling, which could drive me to cry non-stop. Trudly depressed with the lost. Talked to Sue Cing on phone later in the night. It helped to comfort my mind for a while. A moment ago, my mum passed me a letter from university regarding to our convocation details. If only they send the same mail to his family, how much sorrow is going to cause upon his family...
Someone sent me a mail which is titled as "eating according to your blood type" this morning in office. It reminded me that I still haven't post an entry on my last weekend's blood donation in PC fair. We received the brochure before we went to the fair hall. Both of us quickly agreed to go for the donation after our visit to PC fair. I think this is a great strategy to approach more blood donors. I am all in to support them by adding another 300cc of B+ blood into their blood bank.
Did you notice Donkoi's wearing pink? I bought him that. *wicked giggle!*
While waiting for our queue to have our body check-up and blood test, we acted as if we were very "scared". For those that watch Naruto, do you know who we were trying to impersonate? Anyway, this was my third time and Donkoi's first time. My first experience was in Inti college at the starting glitch of my legal age. I did not ask my parents' permission for that, but I did inform them after it. I got sicked then and my mum kept nagging that I should not go for blood donation. Then, my second time was in Batu Pahat with Liaw, KC and Kiet. The second blood donation happened under the sun for no particular reason. We just wanted to donate blood! We went all the way to town and the hospital was closed for Friday's prayer. We were so eager to donate that time, so, we loitered in the town till the hospital was opened at 230pm. Registered ourselves and went through the body check-up. I still remembered the driver, KC failing the blood pressure test. Thus, he had to watch all three of us laying on the bed with blood flowing into a plastic bag.
The medical assistant inserted the cannula into my vein. I was all numb and that was the longest second in my life. You will hear me repeating the same thing everytime I go for blood donation in the future as I had serious blood phobia. I nearly fainted in my biology class during Form 5 when a tiny drop of my blood was sampled to run an experiment.
You're right. The main intention of this picture: his/her ass.

Mr Donkoi was as scared as me as he squeezed my right hand real hard.
Donkoi was waggish after his blood test because he found out that he is not O+ (which according to his mum's information). Instead, he belongs to A+ family. He began to doubt whether is he the biological son of his parents. Duh!!? *slapping my right hand on my head* He went further. He convinced himself that if his parents were not his real parents, they had treated him really well, thus, it was not a really important issue. Ho-ho-ho!!! Too much work huh? Infineon had driven him a bit off sync, i guess.
This view is horrifying!
Spent 15 minutes to drench 300cc of blood from me. Laid back for another 15 minutes to rest. They might think that I was too thin. May be they were right. However, the aftermath of blood donation happened a bit late. I felt a bit dizzy when I went hiking with my aunties in Youth Park on the next morning, 630am. My blood needed longer period to "replenish"?
We were provided Milo and curry-puff then. There were a bunch of youngsters (not that young though) walked in. One of them was a bit reluctant to donate his blood. Donkoi and I motivated him to go for it. He went forward to take the form, but his friends all just walked out from the door. Despite this obvious discouragement, he still sat down to fill up his form until his girlfriend came in. She threw him a tantrum and he went chasing after her. Then, he never came back to the room. Donkoi said,"If that was you, I would break up with you." I said, "She will never understand the importance of the blood donation until her family needed it, but had no one to donate to her." Selfish human being, which is well educated can easily be detected every where. Disappointing fact. What is the point of education then? For technology. For advancement. For sh*t. By the way, my blood will expired one month later, exactly on my birthday, 9th September 2006. The best gift of my birthday - able to help someone out there or to exaggerate a bit, capable to prolong someone live. Happy! Happy!
