Phuket 03

Just came back from a wedding dinner with my mummy. She is happy that she get to meet all the relatives. I am happy too as I get to eat all the nice food, including shark fin. I am guilty for eating shark fin, I know. So guilty...

Before I sleep, let's make an entry on what I have done on the Second day of my Phuket trip. (I know it is a long long while ago. But, what to do? I basically feel sleepy everyday when I step in my bedroom. I wish that I still have the same strength to update everyday, like university time. However, it is just so impossible!! Bear with me...)

Phang Nga Bay

We woke very early on the Second day to join a tour group to the famous Phang Nga bay. Before taking boat to the famous landmark (James Bond Island), the tour also bring us to a small scale sleeping buddha temple. There were hundreds of monkeys loitering at the outside of the temple. Old aunties tried to sell us bananas and ground nuts to feed the monkey. Reflashing back, why the monkeys did not rob the aunties since they were selling so near to them?! Hmmphhh.....

We then sat in the long-tailed boat, heading to James Bond Island. The two try-to-act-cute uncle and auntie were from SuZhou, China. Besides a bunch of Suzhou people, we traveled with a pair of Danish friends, who won the Denmark mountain hiking contest.

The rain in Phuket as well as Phang Nga is so easy to be predicted. The moment you see the dark cloud moving toward you, the rain is soon to be happened. Anyway, I must not forget to tell you guys that the sailing experience was wonderful. I was completely overwhelmed by the scupltures from the nature hands. Every glances was a different pictures, which impelling different imaginations.

Look at this picture. The limestones are standing on top of the water. That is what people known as optic illusion. Along the boat ride, dramatic limestones gained our exclaimations repeatedly. Besides the impressive limestones, mangrove trees were ocasionally brushing the salt water with their long branches, which causing a growing ripple in the water.

There are Hong, or rooms with a view, that lie inside some of Phang Nga's islands. These fabulous microcosms, hidden realms rich in unspoiled flora and fauna.

James Bond Island

After an one-and-half-hour ride, we reached the James Bond Island. This famous landmark had found its way to the international map through "The Man With the Golden Gun", with Roger Moore as James Bond. There was a more or less 20 degrees slanting with the faded painting of the movie poster. And you can see that the signature pinnacle made CK and I doing stupid things. :-DDD

More and more crazy moves. This rocky limestones surrounding inspired us to start practising our kung fu skill, "Wa-Ta!!!", especially CK who just finished watching the China-made Gordon Heroes.

Koh Pannyi (Sea Gypsy Island)

Lunch time. We were brought to a fishermen village to had our lunch. The whole population of this village is Muslims, which is different from the normal religion of Thailand. After the lunch, we walked at pier to check out their aquaculture products. It was then the time that CK and I mistaken that 400 baht was equivalent to 4 ringgit. Then, we bought a big packet of dried prawn assuming happily that we got the cheapest dried prawn in the world. After we paid for it, we then realised it is supposed to be 40 ringgit. -_0" The dried prawn joke sticked with us throughout the trip.... Ha! Ha! Ha!

Need to get going. The next upcoming is our ice-cream experience in Phuket. And to those who wish I took off my bikini in the jaccuqi, here is the explaination why I should not take off - adequate revealing starts the desire, too much revealing kills the desire. Wink! Wink!
