Phuket 02

Two wonderful things of the day:
1. My aunt drove all the way from town to my house just to pass me cheese cakes. I am truthfully touch. *sob-sob*
2. TMNet is serving me again... hopefully, I don't need to call up often to screw the operators.

HAPPY, basically summarized my day, I would say.

During happy time like this, I will try to fulfill requests from friends, brightening up their gloomy days in the working kick-start. The first wish I grant goes to - SueCing, Mak, Lenz, a anonymous friend of mine who forgot to leave her/his name on the comment as well as my new-known colleague who is sitting opposite me and found my blog. I am going to blog about my Phuket trip again, with of course, tonnes of photos.

Yummy-licious!

Watch out!! Your saliva is leaking. I know. I know that you just can not help it. All the food just simply delicioooous, isn't it? Their lok-lok cooking method is different from us. They don't have seperate pots for you to boil your food. Instead, the buyers choose what they want and give to the hawker. Then, the hawker will boil it for the buyers. Besides that, the fruits de mer (seafood) is so appealing, but it is very costy. If only I have more baht in hand, all of them will be in my stomach....

Bangla Street

"Tonight...Tonight...Big fight..." we could hear that promotion slogan while walking down the street. Before the Muay Thai started every night, there would be a muay-thai banners decorated lorry, with the boxers standing tough in it, doing promotion for the fight of the night. As we loitered in the same area for all 4 days, both of us could memorized the line, following the loud speaker to say out their slogan. Silly, but fun! Ha! Ha!

It is a street whereby shopkeepers trying to cut through the customers' throats to see Adam's apple and blood, bars and restaurants with prostitutes wearing the minimum clothes on their body to target for their potential customers as well as lady boys standing on the street with their hoarse voices, trying to drag the man into their arms. It might sound like a sinful land. But, it was simply breathtaking with the sunset colouring the buildings.

CK was so eager to go to see the "ladies" and I was skeptical about that. In order to power up myself against the beautiful "ladies", I decided to dress up a bit.

Did you see the umbrella in the background of my picture? It was a raining season in Phuket during that time. Thus, umbrella was really handy helper in keeping us dry! TskTsk!

We were going to watch the second show of the night. Thus, we reached early to survey the theater. The local man, who helped us to take the photo, grabing the opportunity to sell us TIGER show ticket.

??? Tiger?

CK: What to see?
Local: Man, woman, naked, make love.
CK: Oh, how much?
Local: 750 baht, one person, van take you there after this.
CK: We think first.

(After a while in Phuket, you don't even bother your English is grammatically correct or not. It is just the matter of getting your message across, just that.)

Did we go then? Nah, it is crazy to pay 750 baht to see people performing sex for you. According to Lau Tong, you will die by watching all the free downloads through BitComet. Ha! :)

I was beaten flat on the floor by all these pretty "ladies". Guys were rushing to take photo with them while girls were wishing to have their body figures and beautiful face features. These photo were taken after their first show. They kept inviting with their wonderful posture, but hoarse voices "Lai...Lai.." to allure the guys. Check out the video to feel the atmosphere for being tempted by beautiful "ladies"...

Though it was kind of uncomfortable to see them striving to earn extra baht by taking photo with the audience, it was a complete different feeling when they were performing. I really appraciated their performance. The musical show was well planned with great costumes and props. A must have experience if you go to Thailand. But, guys, make sure you did not sit too near to the stage. The performer will walk down and leaving you with their cheap lipsticks stains on your faces. During our show, there was a chinese uncle running around the theater to avoid the performer. It was an extra entertainment, which we did not pay for. Ha! Ha!

Have to go to Oik-Oik now. More updates is coming.... :-) Stay tuned, friends!
