Korean Food

Coddling in food at a foreign country is a sinful pleasure.
[Check my weight when I reached back…. *Tang~Tang, increased by 3kg!*]
Besides the regular meals with all sort of Kimchi, my family adventured further with the local fruits, the roadside hawker’s food and a must-not-forget item, Ice-cream.
[It has been a tradition at home that we eat ice-cream anywhere and everywhere we go no matter of the temperature. *Nut!*]

This is our first ice-cream, chocolate flavor.
When we ordered the ice-cream, the ice-cream girl took out a round ice-cream to put at the machine.
Then, she punched the handle and produced an ice-cream like a McDonald sundae!

Taste is different from the McDonald Sundae, of course!
And, price is 7 fold of the sundae... *Ouch!*

The fish is freshly caught for this steamboat.

May be I am too picky when come to seafood
Sorry, this meal is simply not appealing to me.
But, it is a big attraction to Koreans.
According to Jenny [our Korean tour guide], they seldom have the chance to eat seafood as it is very expensive.

This is my first breakfast at Korea, abalone porridge with kimchi.
The egg yolk was prepared with sesame oil.
It is not yucky at all by gulping down the egg yolk.
In fact, it soothed my dry throat.
I ate two yolk-ky by taking my aunt’s share because she did not dare to try.

Ice-cream again!
After checking my entire photo, I realized I did not capture the ice-cream bun, which looks like the Doraemon’s favourite bun.
We actually bought two to share, but why I never take a photograph?!
May be I’m too cold to tear off my gloves and rummaging for my camera…

So hungry after climbing the sun rise peak….

Wonderful pork dish! Yummy!
* Introduce to you, Mr Wong = the mischievous peace sign behind Cindy and me.
“He looks like my dad.” And, my cousin agreed too.

Eat and eat…!

Korean: Hooray!~**
Leang: A man meat is another man poison.
Let me tell you a secret, I am actually an instrument, seafood-freshness tester. *Ha!*
I am very picky with seafood and the no.1 in my detest list: tiny prawn.
However, I will be in heaven with big prawns, lobster, sea cucumbers and nice steam fish. *Ha! Ha!*

Feeding my aunt…

This ice-cream was cheaper than all the previous ice-cream and it was the tallest we had so far in Korea. *Hiak-hiak!* But, it is no fight with the Danga Bay’s tallest ice-cream in Malaysia!

While walked upon a fashion outlet, I was holding this ice-cream and eating alone at the outside.
Girls! Girls! *Sigh*
I think if I have a cardboard that time, I would hang it over me and write “Please pity the lonely kid and donate money for her to buy more ice-cream….” *Ha! Ha!*
