It was a Friday night. No one want to study! He! After being tempted by LieWei to join her at school, I agreed and she came to fetch me. Since she was so kind, I treated her with Ah Leang Leng Tong.
By 9pm, we were walking to the stadium from the boring hall. The university authority organized an off-campus students night and required all students' attedance. I was not interested to join in unless they can help us to cut the rent! Walking out of the hall while talking to my mum on the phone. Good excuse. Thanks to my mum for calling! Muaks!
While we were walking into the stadium, we could see Ah Nam shotting putt. Ha! :) We walked further to the audience seat. The first event was about to start then. The first event was 4x100. Two teams of my friends participated in it.
We waited for quite a long while. At last, it started off. Okey, my friends were neither great runners in nature nor a hard daily trainners. So, the two teams were actually fighting not to be the last. Ha! Last baton race were between Simon and Soon Huat. Though Soon Huat was the last to get the baton, he managed to overtake Simon and we all cheer for him!! Ha! He really could run quite fast. Later, he went to play badminton somemore against a tough opponent. Wow!! He is getting more "MAN" compared to the "RED Latern" last time! [This is encoded message. Only Shisi members will understand. :]
The second event we waited was my housemate's 4x400 race. Her team lead by at least 200m. When she came home, she told me that she used 109 steps to finish 400 metres. I never count my steps while running. May be I should count next time to have an idea what she was actually trying to tell me. Ha!
The third event was the man 4x400. Initially, there were 2 teams of our friends in the race. But, one team gave up. Thus, there leave one team as a comedy to us. We could not help laughing through the whole race. During the first runner's race, Simon was actually at the last placing. But, the running time was his personal best record. "Good" job, Simon! Then, there was no way for Kar Guan to chase up to the other second runners. The funniest thing was when Yong Khang (the third runner) reached to Ah Lun (the fourth runner), the fourth runner of the first placing was actually right behind him. Anyway, Ah Lun did finish the race. ~Sportmanship!!~
After that, we shifted to the badminton court to cheer for our friends' team, Incredible...Wow, they actually won! :)
